Hustle and bustle: The Monster-in-Law star was dressed down, but still eye-catching as she made her way through the Big Apple in the wake of her breakup from longtime love Casper Smart
Even dressed down, Jennifer Lopez can't help but be stunning.

The 47-year-old beauty on Tuesday was snapped heading to work on the New York City set of her NBC series Shades of Blue in fuzzy Puma sandals, sunglasses and a T-shirt-and-sweatpants combo that read, 'Hola Amor' on the top and 'I am love' on the bottom. The makeup-free star kept her hair tied back and clutched an iPhone.

The Ain't Your Mama singer kicked off her day as she closes out a whirlwind month that saw the end of her five-year relationship with one-time backup dancer Casper Smart.

While Smart has been holding out hopes of a reunion with the Booty singer - the two did break up then make up in 2014 - she's firm in her resolution to move on this time, TMZ reported. The final straw for Love Don't Cost a Thing singer, the outlet reported, came when the 29-year-old choreographer attended a UFC event instead of a Hamptons fundraiser she had wanted him to accompany her to.

One relationship that seems to be going smoother for Lopez is the one she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, the father of her twins Max and Emme, both aged eight years. The Waiting for Tonight singer was a pleasant surprise to concertgoers at Anthony's Radio City Music Hall debut Saturday, as she emerged onstage and joined Anthony, 47, in a duet.

Despite the ongoing buzz surrounding her personal life, it's clear that Lopez right now is focused on filming her NBC cop drama that casts her as Harlee Santos, a NYC police officer - and single mom with money problems - who is pushed to work in an FBI anti-corruption task force.

The multi-talented mother-of-two, who is a producer on the program, told Deadline earlier this summer that she relishes getting back in front of the camera, as it's always been her foremost passion in spite of the success she's had in other fields.

'This was how I started my career. This is who I am. I always saw myself as an actress who danced and sang and had those talents as well,' said Lopez, whose first film credit came in the 1986 James Earl Jones drama My Little Girl before she began as a dancer on In Living Color five years later.

'And I made my records later in my career. I didn’t make my first record until I was almost 30. So the acting was always the first thing. That was where people got to know me,' said Lopez, whose big breakthrough came nearly 20 years ago playing slain singer Selena Quintanilla in the 1997 film Selena.
